DAY 1: Arrival In San Salvador / Suchitoto
Upon arrival in San Salvador, guests are met & transferred to Suchitoto or
“Ciudad Vieja” (old city) – peaceful old town with stoned streets, big houses
with antique balconies. But before we get there we will pass by Ilobasco to see
the miniature artisans and how skilled they are to make their work in clay.
Overnight accommodations.

DAY 2: Suchitoto
Breakfast. Here we can spend the day being part of this little town, visiting the old church,
the art galleries or the art craft places. We can go for boat ride at the lake; we can visit the cigar artisans.

DAY 3: Suchitoto / Chalatenango Heights
Breakfast. This morning we will travel to the highlands of Chalatenango. These beautiful
mountains have a lot to show us. But in the way up we will pass by Cihuatan archaeological site. Artcraft workshop in the afternoon.

DAY 4: Highlands Of Chalatenango
Breakfast. Today we will journey inside these mountains. First we will go to Bosques de la
Pradera where we find a clear cold water river that comes down from Honduras. There is a walk to the miraculous fountain with great views. After this walk it is time for lunch – at the Finca La Esperanza with doña Talita. She will have for us rabbit or indian hen. She really
can cook. And how about learning how to make a tortilla? Doña Talita cultivates flowers we can also see and enjoy. After lunch we can have a small siesta in a hammock just to be ready for the rest of our day. Then we will continue to La Cumbre. Here Don Ignacio can show us the crops he harvests and will offer us a sweet snack: wheat semita and wheat coffee. We might even buy a vegetable to eat during our dinner.

DAY 5: Chalatenango Highland – La Palma – San Salvador
After breakfast departure to San Salvador. City tour, art craft market, museum,
farewell dinner at Los Cebollines Restaurant or similar at the Galerias
Escalón.

DAY 6: Depart San Salvador
Breakfast. This morning our driver will transfer guests to the airport in plenty of time to catch
their flight. (B)
