BURBAYAR

Burbayar in the Kuna language means spirit of the mountain. This mountain lodge is located on the mainland of San Blas and is a world-class place for birdwatching with spectacular diversity of bird species and other animals.

The lodge provides all the basic comforts in the heart of nature! This lodge was built by wood obtained sustainably, through recycling. Burbayar has fully-equipped bathrooms and water 365 days a year, power from a small generator and through solar lamps and at night candles are lit, giving the lodge an old-fashioned atmosphere.

The surrounding terraces have colorful and relaxing hammocks, where you can also take a siesta, watch the hummingbirds, read a good book or plan your upcoming trips.
