DAY 2: Historical City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from your hotel to visit Panama Viejo, The remaining ruins are the vestiges of the city left by Pirate Henry Morgan. You will visit the second colonial city of Panama, Casco Viejo. Overview of the Modern City and banking sector and return to your hotel.

DAY 3: Panama Canal Watershed Birding Tour in Pipeline Road
Early in the morning after breakfast depart to Pipeline Road located in the Soberania National Park considered one of the best birding spots in America for birding. A box lunch is included in the area.

DAY 4: Partial Canal Transit
Breakfast. The Panama Canal tour starts with a short transfer from your hotel to Flamenco Island, at the Causeway of Amador on the Pacific side of the canal. Lunch is served buffet style. The Panama Canal is 80 kilometers long from deep waters in the Pacific Ocean to deep waters in the Caribbean Sea. After the tour you will be transfer to your hotel.

Soon you will be enjoying a veritable bird sanctuary. During the tour you’ll have the opportunity to see many bird species and a wide range of diverse plant and tree species.

DAY 3: Boquete Mountain in the Highlands
Breakfast. Today you will fly from Panama City to David. This flight takes 1 hour approximately. Once you arrive you will be transferred to Boquete.

Breakfast. This is one of the most beautiful trails in Central America. You walk through landscapes of different heights and giving the opportunity to see a variety of trees, plants and bird species, including the Quetzal among many others.

DAY 5: Transfer from David to Cerro Punta
Breakfast. Today you will be transferred from Boquete to your hotel in Cerro Punta.

Breakfast. This tour offers the opportunity to admire a great variety of the highlands bird species. Our guide that will take you to one of the trails around the Baru Volcano slopes or private reserves for a superb bird watching adventure.

DAY 2: Full Day City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. During the half-day morning tour you will visit the ruins of Old Panama and then continue to Casco Viejo which dates back from the late 1600′s. The morning ends with a visit to the Panama Canal Museum. The full day tour continues with a visit to the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal where large ships can be seen transiting the canal. Lunch at a local restaurant. The tour then continues to the Panama Canal area, including the town of Balboa, formerly part of the Panama Canal Zone. Late afternoon you will return to your hotel in Panama City.

DAY 3: Hiking & Boat Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning you are picked up at the lobby of your hotel by our Naturalist Guide for a 45-minute drive to the town of Gamboa, where the Chagres River meets the Panama Canal. Here you board a boat and head off on an adventure that will include an expedition across Gatun Lake in the Panama. After the boat tour we will head to Soberania National Park for a hiking tour around the trails of the lush forest.

DAY 4: Embera Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning you will visit the Catu Embera Community near the Soberania National Park. This active Emberá and village proudly hosts visitors to share their traditions and cultures. The Emberá are master artisans in Panama, known for our woven baskets and masks. After a traditional Embera lunch you will be heading back to your hotel. Optional: short hiking in a botanical trail at the community. Overnight accommodations at Gamboa Rainforest Resort (B/L)
DAY 5: Transfer to Pacific Side
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be transferred from Gamboa Rainforest Resort to your Pacific Beach hotel. The beach in the Pacific Coast offers a great range of activities and is shared by a fisherman’s village.

DAY 6: Free Day at Sheraton Bijao Resort
You will have a free day for your relaxation, leisure and optional activities at the resort. Walk to the beach at just a few feet from your room and enjoy the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.

DAY 7: Transfer from Pacific Side to Panama City
Today you will be transferred from your Pacific beach hotel back to Panama City.
