DAY 1: Arrival Guatemala City / Antigua
Upon arrival in Guatemala City, guests are met & transferred in a private vehicle to Antigua.

DAY 2: Antigua – Architecture & History Tour
Today we will will take a half day guided walking tour of Antigua. The tour takes in the main square, Palace, Cathedral, La Merced Church & San Francisco Church. All entrances are included. Free afternoon.

DAY 3: Antigua / Lake Atitlan
Breakfast. This morning guests transfer through the highlands to the scenic Lake Atitlan. Upon arrival guests will take a scenic boat ride across Lake Atitlan to the village of San Juan La Laguna to visit a textile cooperative, medicinal plant center and local naïf painter workshops. Then we go on to Santiago where they have lunch in a local hotel and tour the village visiting the Maya God Maximon and learn about the textiles, spiritualism and beliefs of the T’zutujil Maya. Overnight accommodations. (B/L)
DAY 4: Chichicastenango Market
Breakfast. Today guests transfer to the famous market at Chichi. Time for shopping in this fabulous craft market and an opportunity to see Maya rituals being performed in the Catholic Church before transferring onto Guatemala City for the evening flight to Flores and transfer to your jungle hotel in Tikal.

DAY 5: Tikal
Breakfast. Today guests enjoy a tour to explore the amazing UNESCO protected Mayan Temple site of Tikal where huge Mayan temples rise above the jungle canopy and monkeys and tropical birds are abundant in the surrounding rainforest. After lunch guests transfer back to their hotel to relax.

DAY 6: Tikal / Flores / Belize
Breakfast. This morning guests transfer to Flores airport for a short flight to Belize City. Here guests pass through immigration and take another short flight to the beach location of their choice.

Breakfast. Free day to relax at the beach or book tours locally.

Breakfast. Guests fly back to Belize international airport in time to connect with their international flight out of Belize. (B)
