Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Lima
Arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2: Lima
In the morning we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors San Martin de Porras and San Rosa de Lima used to walk around in the 17th century, and where their remains rest today.
In the afternoon, let’s experience the capital city of Lima with a different style. We will begin our exploration by learning more about the ancient Peruvian inhabitants in the Larco Museum, hosted in a colonial mansion unique of its kind that dates back to the 18th century, and built on top of a Pre-Columbian pyramid of the 7th century. We will tour the halls and galleries where each piece is a book to be opened. We will continue our visit by heading to an antique Tavern, where we will delight our palates with some delicious Peruvian sandwiches not to be missed, accompanied by a drink made of Pisco, our flagship liquor. Finally, we will head for the Magic Water Circuit, the largest water and light show in Latin America. We will witness the greatest show of Ornamental Fountains where there is perfect communion and harmony of water, light, music and images.

DAY 3: Lima / Paracas
Departure to Paracas Bay in the exclusive “Paracas Premium Service”. We will go the airport of Pisco to fly over the Nazca lines, huge drawing that can only be seen from the sky and which represent several insects and animals like a monkey, hummingbird, condor or a spider. The origins are unknown, while many think it is a big astronomic calendar. Return to airport and transfer to your hotel. Free rest of the day to enjoy the hotel facilities and surrounding areas. DAY 4: Paracas / Ica / Paracas / Lima
Today we will learn about “Pisco” Peru’s national drink. We begin our Pisco experiences at Tacama winery, open since 1540. It is a pioneer growing grapes for pisco production. Its colonial architecture will lead us to the deepest roots of Peruvian pisco. We will have a tour of the estate, a bell tower, a vineyard and a wine cellar. We will also visit a handcrafted pisco cellar called “El Catador” in the same region. Here you will be able to observe ancient clay vessels known as piscos and the unique oak press. On our way to this region of vineyards, we will make an incursion in the Ica desert to visit the Huacachina Oasis surrounded by sand dunes and palm trees. You will enjoy Ica gastronomy. In the afternoon, departure to Lima in the exclusive “Paracas Premium Service”. Overnight stay in Lima.

DAY 5: Lima / Cusco
Afternoon half day tour of Cusco
Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. On arrival, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon our exclusive city tour starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza to enjoy its panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market to soak in its local flavors and to learn about more of the products grown in the area which supply the whole city. After this, the Korikancha temple will welcome us in all his magnificence; this temple, whose Quechua name means “Gold Enclosure” still bedazzles us with the thought of its gold covered walls. Then it is the turn to visit the Santo Domingo Church. We will walk from San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood, to the Hatun Rumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace, nowadays home to the Archbishop’s Palace and also at the famous Twelve Angle Stone. We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces. Overnight stay in Cusco.

DAY 6: Cusco
Morning half day tour of nearby ruins
In the morning we will distance from the crowds and visit Sacsayhuaman, a huge and impressive fortress of colossal constructions and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly. Our adventure continues at the Inca Shrine Qenqo, to see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave. Finally we will arrive to the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay, monument of impressive architectonic knowledge considered as one of the pillars of Andean Cosmo vision.
Free afternoon to explore the city. Overnight stay in Cusco.

DAY 7: Cusco / Sacred Valley
Awanacancha, Inca and colonial Pisac & Inkariy Museum
The Sacred Valley of the Incas will welcome us today. We will visit Awanacancha, a tourist complex where we will see and feed the Andean camelids such as the llamas and alpacas, and where the locals will show us the weaving and dyeing techniques of their traditional textiles. We will then continue to Inca and Colonial Pisac. Discover one of the most beautiful archeological sites in the Sacred Valley at the top of the mountain where you can have a view of the colonial town of Pisac. Walking tour to the Colonial town. Time to do some shopping at the handicraft market. Then, we will head to the impressive Inkariy Museum. Here we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We will take a guided tour of the museum to learn more about the numerous rooms where cultural representations of pre-Hispanic civilizations of ancient Peru are exhibited. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

DAY 8: Sacred Valley /Machu Picchu
Moray, Maras, Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu Pueblo
Our adventure journey takes us now to less explored treasures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. First stop: Moray, a place with breathtaking views thanks to its colossal concentric terraces resembling a coliseum. What did they use it for? The terraces recreated 20 different types of microclimates, and they were studied to ensure the agricultural production of the empire. We will continue our journey to Maras, the millenary colonial salt mines. The contrast of the white pools against the green valley is so impressive that it resembles a postcard. Buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will head towards the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, where you can see the technique with which the Incas work the stone. It is now time to catch the train at the Ollantaytambo station. We will arrive in Aguas Calientes where our trained staff will welcome and assist us on getting settled in one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes (now, Machu Picchu town).

DAY 9: Machu Picchu / Cusco
We will board the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. After a guided visit, we will have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco and will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 10: Cusco / Lima
Departure transfer.

Note: Saturday PM and Sunday AM Lima’s Cathedral is closed, we will visit instead MAP museum (Lima’s Art museum).
