LIMA, CUSCO, AND SHORT INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU
A backpack on the shoulders, the path has no limits and neither does the experience we will live here. We will go through the sacred path of the Incas in a pilgrimage to find our inner souls. Magic is everywhere and what we’ll find at the end of this journey will impress us all.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival in Lima, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2: Lima

Half day city tour of modern and colonial Lima
In the morning we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. After this, we go on to the Main Square, the Government Palace, and the Town Hall. We will visit the Cathedral and explore Santo Domingo Convent. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the city on your own or take one of our optional tours. Please see OPTIONAL TOURS section.

DAY 3: Lima / Cusco

Afternoon tour of Cusco
Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. On arrival, meet and greet at the airport, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon our exclusive city tour starts with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza, the Korikancha temple.

Later we visit the Santo Domingo Church, San Blas, the artisans’ neighborhood and the Hatun Rumiyoc street, stopping at the Inca Roca Palace. We will continue our walk to the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces.

DAY 4: Cusco

Day at leisure
Free day to continue discovering the city on our own or join us in one of our optional tours. Please visit our OPTIONAL TOURS section.

DAY 5: Cusco, Inka Trail & Machu Picchu

Departure to the train station to board the train to Km. 104, where our Short Inca Trail begins with a gentle walk to explore the beauty of Wiñaywayna Complex. After a box-lunch, we will continue our way to Machu Picchu walking through the Intipunku or Door of the Sun. Overnight stay at one of the hotels in Agua Calientes or Machu Picchu.

DAY 6: Machu Picchu / Cusco

Early in the morning our guide will take us to the Lost City of the Incas for a special visit. This archaeological monument will surround us with its energy and astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps, and urban areas. We will have free time to explore Machu Picchu on our own and have lunch at one of the restaurants of the area. At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco by train and will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cusco.

DAY 7: Depart Cusco

At the arranged time we will go to the airport to board the departing flight to your next destination.

NOTE: Saturday PM and Sunday AM Lima’s Cathedral is closed, we will visit instead MAP museum (Lima’s Art Museum).
