ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL LIMA
Transfers and hotel accommodations in Lima.

DAY 2: LIMA
Combined city tour of colonial and modern Lima; including Lima’s most imposing colonial churches and mansions. Optional dinner at one of the top Lima restaurants including transfers. Overnight in Lima. (B)

DAY 3: LIMA/CUSCO
Transfer to airport for flight to Cusco and upon arrival to hotel. Afternoon a comprehensive combined city tour and nearby ruins. Overnight in Cusco (B)

DAY 4: CUSCO/SACRED VALLEY
Full day tour to Sacred Valley. Explore colorful and native local markets (depending on day of the week); the fertile valleys of Urubamba and Ollantantaytambo and its fortresses. Overnight in Sacred Valley. (B/L)

DAY 5: SACRED VALLEY
Explore the local ruins in Pisac and Chinchero and the spectacular terracing used for agriculture dating back to the Inca Empire or Maras salt pools, Moray and Quechua village. Overnight in Sacred Valley (B/L)

DAY 6: SACRED VALLEY//MACHU PICCHU:
Depart from the Ollantaytambo train station in the Sacred Valley for a full day tour to Machu Picchu via Vistadome train service or similar. Lunch at the Sancturary Lodge. Overnight in Machu Picchu area (B/L/D)

DAY 7 – MACHU PICCHU/CUSCO
Enjoy this second morning in Machu Picchu to continue discovering these breathtaking ruins. Afternoon transfers to train station and return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco. (B)

DAY 8 –DEPART CUSCO
Transfer from hotel to airport for departure to next destination or return home via Lima (B)
