One of the first Amazon rainforest lodges in Ecuador, the award winning La Selva was completely remodeled  and has since become the premier eco lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The Lodge

La Selva Amazon Eco-lodge is located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest just off the Napo River, which eventually flows eastward and joins the mighty Amazon on its way to the Atlantic Ocean. The lodge is within the Yasuní Biosphere Reserve and next to the Yasuní National Park. This region is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, home to literally millions of species of plants, animals, birds and insects.

La Selva Amazon Eco-lodge sits on the shores of Garzacocha lagoon awaiting your arrival. The spacious suites are inspired by native design, and both Naturalist and Native guides are the pride of the lodge, giving life to the amazing excursions.

Deep in the Amazon Jungle a Paradise awaits you… Since remodeling the lodge, La Selva now has 19 superb, high end suites. These include Scenic Suites with private views overlooking Lake Garzacocha, 12 Superior Suites and 4 Family Suites. Both Scenic and Superior Suites include exclusive rainforest showers, private balconies and luxury bed linens with great panoramic views while the Family Suites include spacious bathrooms, hammocks and a tub on a private porch. Each Suite was specially created to imitate the surrounding rainforest atmosphere. Environmentally constructed with bamboo from sustainable plantations, the open design allows guests to enjoy the sounds of the forest, as well as have a genuine jungle experience in maximum comfort.

La Selva’s restaurant boasts a delicious and unique quality of food. The lodge chefs use only the best ingredients offering exquisite international favorites as well as dishes native to the region. La Selva is always more than happy to accommodate any vegetarian or other special diet upon request during your booking process.

Overlooking the glassy waters of Lake Garzacocha, the new main lodge and restaurant is the guests’ favorite spot. You can watch birds and other wildlife as you sip a cocktail from the fully stocked bar in comfort.

When night falls, you’ll enjoy fine cuisine in the restaurant, prepared by the lodge famous chefs, as the birds and animals of the Amazon serenade you with their unique song.

La Selva Lodge takes great pride in its food. The lodge talented chefs whip up delicious meals on a daily basis, and guests often mention how much they enjoyed the food during their stay. All meals are included in the price of your stay.

The Restaurant at La Selva features a large, airy restaurant and lounge, with a complete bar and wraparound window over the lagoon. Whenever we can, we use locally purchased ingredients, such as fresh fruit and vegetables. This not only assures a fresh, delicious meal for guests, but is part of its ongoing commitment to support local communities.

La Selva has a complete bar serving cold beer, soft drinks, juices and cocktails. Try one of its jungle specialties! Drinks purchased at the bar are not included in the room rate.
