DAY 1: La Paz / Huatajata

Visit to Tiwanacu. During the splendor period Tiwanacu was the largest city in the World and  it is considered to be "the Cradle of the American Civilizations". Land transportation to Huatajata. En route enjoy the most spectacular panorama of the lake, mountains and the impressive Royal Range of the Andes.

Visit the Chullpas mortuary of several period and many more important sites.

DAY 2: Huatajata / Sun & Moon Island / Huatajata

Board a hydrofoil and start your Lake Titicaca experience. First, visit the Urus Iruitos & Quewaya Sustainable Tourism Project. Continué to Moon Island. Visit the "Iñak Uyu" Sun Virgins temple, where the most beautiful virgins of the Incas were conserving a sacred fire dedicated to their Gods. Cruise to Sun Island. Visit the Inca Stairways and the Sacred Fountain.

DAY 3: Huatajata / La Paz

Bus transportation to La Paz followed by a half day City Tour of La Paz and Moon Valley. This tour includes:  Native, colonial and modern áreas,  Indian Market, Open Air Museum of Tiwanacu, Witch Doctor's Market and Moon Valley.

DAY 1: Arrival in La Paz

Transfer from airport to hotel in La Paz includes transportation, bilingual guide, assistance on arrival and porter age at the Airport. Free day to acclimatize.

Overnight accommodations

DAY 2:  La Paz – Tiwanaku - Huatajata

Breakfast. Visit the magnificent ruins of Tiwanaku, the Sun Gate, the Temple of Kalasasaya and the Pyramid of Akapana.  are the sample of a glorious past. Tiwanaku culture was an agrarian based economy with an estimated population of 115.000 inhabitants. Afternoon visits to Huatajata and the Andean Roots Eco Village, the Altiplano Museum and many more interesting sites.

DAY 3:  Huatajata /Cocotoni/Copacabana/Sun Island/Moon Island/Cocotoni/Huatajata/La Paz

Breakfast. Bus from Huatajata to the bucolic and untouched Bay of Cocotoni, an indigenous community that lives within this -lost in time- bay, framed by the best panoramas of the Andes and the overwhelming Lake Titicaca. Hydrofoil cruises to Copacabana and to Sun Island, Moon Island, and Cocotoni. Continue by bus to Huatajata. Overland transfer to La Paz and hotel.

DAY 4: La Paz / Sucre

Breakfast. Today we fly from La Paz to Sucre. Transfers. Afternoon city tour visiting: Textile and ethnographic Museum Asur, the San Felipe Nery Church, the convent of our Lady Santa Ana and the Retreat of Chuquisaca.

DAY 5:  Sucre /Potosi / Uyuni

Breakfast. Private transportation to Potosi, visiting the Mining Market and the Royal Mint. Certainly one of the most important example of civil architecture in South America. Private transportation to Uyuni

DAY 6 Uyuni

Breakfast. Full day tour visiting the highest and largest Salt lake in the world ( 10.500 km2) surrounded by an impressive panorama. Salt Museum and Fish Island – a  favorite site for photographers.

DAY 7 La Paz

Transfer to the airport for flight to La Paz. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of La Paz and Moon Valley. Visits to the indigenous, colonial and modern areas, Indian Market, Witch Doctor's Market & breathtaking panoramas are all framed by the majestic "Illimani" mountain. Visit the Moon Valley, a clay formation resembling the face of the Moon.  Afternoon at leisure.

DAY1: Santa Cruz

Reception at the airport in Santa Cruz and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour.

Overnight accommodations

DAY 2: Santa Cruz / Samaipata / Santa Cruz

Full Day Visit to the Samaipata ruins. At only one and a half hour drive from Santa Cruz, you reach the ruins of Samaipata, where you can see strange carvings on a giant rock representing a snake and many other enigmatic figures.

DAY 3: Santa Cruz / Sucre

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sucre. In Sucre reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon City tour. Sucre, the constitutional capital of Bolivia, is a living expression of both colonial and modern times.

DAY 4: Sucre / Tarabuco / Sucre

Full day visit to Tarabucos Market (Sundays only)

Full day visit to the Sunday Native Fair of Tarabuco. On Sunday Tarabuco became a fantasy of colors; Indian costumes and a fabulous market.

DAY 5: Sucre / Potosi

Bus transfer to bus station for regular bus to Potosí. At 3 hours journey from Sucre, you reach Potosí, the famous Colonial City, and source of silver during colonial times.

DAY 6: Potosi /Uyuni

Early in the morning visit the Casa de la Moneda (Royal Mint), with its wooden machinery used to make the silver coins for Spain during the colony and a visit to a mine are the main local attractions.

DAY 7: Uyuni / Salt Flats / Uyuni / Oruro

Pick up from your hotel for a full day tour of Salt Lake, the largest salt flat on earth and Isla Pescado located at the center of the Uyuni salta pan. The surface rocks contain fossils of marine algae. This is the largest island in the group that forms an isolated oasis-type ecosystem within the salt pan. Afternoon return to Uyuni. Transfer to hotel for day use room while waiting for the night train to Oruro. Late transfer to the train station.

DAY 8: Oruro / La Paz

Reception in Oruro and transfer to the bus station for regular bus to La Paz. Transfer to your hotel.
