In the afternoon, we take a walk through the historical center of the city. that, taking us from Lezama Park, place of the second Foundation of the City of Buenos Aires, to the Historic Center of the city. The tour ends in Plaza de Mayo, witness of various historical events of the city and Avenida de Mayo (May Avenue), an important architectural heritage.
If you want to learn more about the colonial city, we suggest you to enter the Zanjón de Granados, to approach a section of colonial tunnels. Excavations in the 1830 old mansion led to the uncovering of the ancient Zanjón (ravine) which extended over the whole length of the square. Belonging to a wealthy family with six slaves in 1860 it was turned into a tenement by 1890.

EXCURSION TO THE GLACIARIUM ICE MUSEUM
Arriving from El Calafate we see a building appearing on the horizon. Its architecture represents the front of the glacier, which is the predominant view of the steppe. Lands that glaciers covered thousands of years ago, and where you can still see traces. Two pavilions house the exhibit with the most modern museology resources. You enter through a dark corridor, guided by the pleasant sound of water dripping down from the melting ice. Then the surprise begins as the ice panels begin to speak of the formation of the ice, the story of explorers and scientists. Pictures of great Argentinean photographers such as Florian Von der Flecht, Daniel Wagner, and Andrés Bonetti catch your eye and help your imagination. First the beginning of the universe, the glacial periods. Further down is a large model of the ice field, the origin of the glacial period that you will see during your visit to the area. Interactive screens allow you to view, for example, the recoil of the Upsala glacier. An important tribute to the great Francisco Pascasio Moreno makes it seem as though he is there inspiring us with his enthusiasm for the Argentinean landscapes. Also part of the visit is a unique connection with the Perito Moreno Glacier, which forms a natural dam that then collapses with a great break. The tour ends in a tunnel with an interesting system of simultaneous projections that awakens your senses. Now you are put on red alert for you are faced with the fact that global warming is accelerating and threatening the planet. This is all part of the legacy that you will take along from your visit to the Glaciarium.

CITY TOUR AND END OF THE WORLD MUSEUM
The meeting point is in the Museum of the End of the World. We are there to board the Double decker and start the tour. Visit the city of Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego. Located almost 3500 km away from the city of Buenos Aires, Ushuaia is set in a privileged location between the Beagle Channel and the Martial Mountain chain, located on their backs, with peaks reaching up to 1500 meters.
Off its coast, through the Beagle Channel, the Chilean islands of Navarino and Hoste can be seen. The circuit allows you to appreciate the different points of the city’s attractions, such as the old town, the deep-water port, the steep streets that climb up the Andean slopes, some of the typical houses of the first settlers of the city and the historical building of the former national prison of Ushuaia, whose construction began in 1902 and was completed in 1920. The tour culminates with a visit to the Museum of the End of the World, interesting for its collection of objects that belonged to the indigenous cultures that inhabited the region before the arrival of the white man – the yámanas, selk’nam and alacalufes, as well as elements relating to the history of the island and its first white settlers. After the excursion, return to the meeting point.

OPTIONAL TOURS USHUAIA
