Eight Days

DAY 1: Arrival Buenos Aires
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Check –in. Half-day city tour visiting the main attractions in Buenos Aires: The National Congress, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the Cabildo, San Telmo, La Boca, Palermo, Puerto Madero and Recoleta. Return to the hotel.
Overnight accommodations

DAY 2: Buenos Aires
Morning excursion to a “Fiesta Gaucha” (local color show) in an “estancia” on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. The visitors will enjoy the traditional Argentinean dances, songs and dishes, and the typical rural activities. They will also visit the “gaucho museum” at the original main house of the estancia. The complete program is as follows: at their arrival the guests are invited with empanadas and wine, then they are free to ride on horseback or on a horse driven carriage, visit the museum, etc. They will then have a wonderful “asado” for lunch, with salads and drinks. During lunch time they will enjoy a folk show with songs and dances, ending with coffee and pastelitos (typical pastries). Afterwards they will watch the gauchos herding a troop of horses and sortija races (horse races). Return to hotel.

DAY 3: Buenos Aires/El Calafate
Breakfast Transfer to airport to board flight to El Calafate Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 4: El Calafate
Full day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier, starting at El Calafate. We travel 80 km to the footbridge area (wooden paths and balconies) where you can enjoy different panoramic views of the magnificent glacier. Optional nautical safari. Return to the hotel.

DAY 5: El Calafate Ushuaia
Transfer to the airport to board flight to Ushuaia. Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 6: Ushuaia
Half day excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park to enjoy the sight of lakes, lagoons, and rivers flowing into the Beagle Channel. The tour continues through the slope of Mount Susana arriving at the railway station to take the End of the World Train (optional). Afterwards, we continue to the Roca lake to take a walk alongside the lake and the Lapataia river up to the southernmost continental site in the American continent. Return to the hotel

DAY 7: Ushuaia/Buenos Aires
Transfer to airport to board flight to Buenos Aires. Reception at the airport and transfer to hotel. Tonight enjoy an evening of Tango and dinner. Transfers included. (B/D)

DAY 8: Depart Buenos Aires
Enjoy Buenos Aires on your own until time to transfer to the airport for your return flight (B)
