ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival Mendoza

Arrival and reception at the airport. During the circuit, we visit Luján de Cuyo and/or Maipú. During the visit we learn about fermentation, bottling, and the process of making olive oil plus we enjoy a wine testing.

DAY 2: Mendoza

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival Mendoza

Arrival and reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Mendoza is one of the largest wine regions in the world, with more than 1,500 wineries distributed in three areas: Luján de Cuyo, Valle de Uco and Maipú. During the circuit, we visit Luján de Cuyo and/or Maipú. To understand about the wine process, we visit two wine establishments. One one of them uses traditional methods, while the other one has the latest available technology. During the visit, a professional guide teaches us the fermentation, bottling and labeling methods. At the end, we enjoy a wine tasting. During the tour, we also visit an olive establishment, where we observe the process of making olive oil and we try the product.

DAY 2: Mendoza

Day at leisure to enjoy Mendoza on your own or take on of our optional tours. If you are a nature or landscape lover, we highly recommend you to take the High Mountain Tour, which allows you to admire the Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in America. For those who wish to learn more about wine and be part of the process, we suggest taking a tour to Uco Valley where the climatic conditions in which the vine is cultivated make this area one of the preferred by wineries

MENDOZA OPTIONAL TOURS

MENDOZA CITY TOUR

We will start the tour visiting the Foundational Area, the oldest side of the city. The following place will be Independencia Square, situated at the main point of down town considering the location of other nearby squares.
We will continue the trip visiting the General San Martin Park, which is one of the most important artificial parks in Argentina, not only for its huge extension but also for the proximity to the city. Actually, it has 307 green hectares, 17 kilometers to go, and 821 hectares in expansion. We will finish the trip visiting the Cerro de la Gloria’s Monument, which has an amazing and panoramic view of the city.
At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.

EXPERIENCE COOKING CLASS AT WINERY WITH LUNCH

A private cooking class by the chef of the Bodega Restaurant. The class begins in the organic garden of the winery, where the vegetables and fruits necessary for the elaboration are collected.
The activities of the class are: elaboration of breads, of empanadas criollas (dough, stuffing, repulgation), preparation of humita, preparation of vegetables to the embers for salads, preparation of the roast and desserts to the fire. The duration of the class is approximately 5 hours, and includes the lunch prepared by the participants with the wines of the winery.

BICYCLE TOUR THROUGH VINEYARDS IN VISTALBA- LUJAN DE CUYO WITH LUNCH

A fun and original way to tour the vineyards and wineries, as well as discover the picturesque wine region of Luján de Cuyo. The objective of this activity is to enjoy the open air of new experiences, to cycle on the vineyards of three wineries, to learn on the guided tours and to taste the recognized wines, all this in the classic postal frame of the vineyards and the mountain. To finish the tour after the third visit will be completed with a light lunch.
