Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: El Calafate / El Chaltén.
Transfer to the terminal to take the bus to El Chaltén. Arrival and accommodation.
In the afternoon and after a technical talk, we begin to do rafting. The first stage (6 km-3,7 miles) is of calm waters. We continue rafting a zone of rapids (9 km-5,5 miles) and we finish with a descent of 1 km (0,6 miles) of calm waters. At the end of the tour, we return to El Chaltén.
DAY 2 & 3: El Chaltén (B/L)
We spend the day walking along one of the emblematic paths of El Chaltén. Lunch is included (box lunch)
You can select the following paths:
Torre Lagoon: A must-see trekking where we are able to enjoy an impressive view of the Torre Mount, Adela Mountain Range, Solo Hill and its different glaciers.
• Difficulty: Intermediate — Walking time: 7-8 hours
De Los Tres Lagoon: Tour through impressive landscapes and forests to reach the base of the mythical Mount Fitz Roy, approaching lagoons of different shades, imposing glaciers and camps of climbers of world-wide fame.
• Difficulty: High – Walking time: 8-9 hours
DAY 4: El Chaltén / El Calafate (B/L)
We drive to Lake Del Desierto, from where we walk to Huemul Lagoon and Glacier. After our arrival, we have lunch (box lunch), and we return to El Chaltén by bicycle. In the afternoon, transfer to the terminal to board the bus to El Calafate.
